Thank you for visiting our pages. We would love it if you would Add
to this guestbook we are keeping! What We Think About Puppyfind.com
WARNING WARNING WARNING
PUPPYFIND.COM AND THEIR AFFILIATES ARE AWARE THAT THE MAJORITY OF THERE PUPPY
SELLERS ARE OVERSEAS PUPPY MILLS.
THEIR CLIENT AT LAZY A FARMS IS SENDING OUT PICTURES OF MY DOGS AS BEING THE
PARENTS OF THE POODLE PUPPIES THEY SELL.
THE LATEST FRAUD SCAM ON THEIR SITE IS BEING DONE BY Nikki Brattin CALLING
HER BUSINESS AS LAZY A FARMS. HER PHONE NUMBER IS 417-342-3388 HER IP ADDRESS
IS 72.14.70.32 One of her email addresses lazyafarms@leru.net
PUPPYFIND.COM DOES NOT ASK FOR ANY OTHER INFORMATION FROM THEIR SELLERS OTHER
THAN A EMAIL ADDRESS AND SOME MONEY.
THEY ALSO OWN THE ISP THAT THEY ARE DOING BUSINESS ON WITH THE FRAUDULENT SELLERS.
PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU INTEND TO BUY A DOG FROM A BREEDER THAT IS LISTED
ON PUPPYFIND.COM
ALSO IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT LISTING WITH THEM YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER YOUR
REPUTATION.
IF YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED AT THIS SITE OR KNOW OF SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN SCAMMED
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT THE PAWS ORGANIZATION OR MYSELF.
Puppyfind.com is an online service which takes a financial
cut for connecting puppy sellers with people that want to buy dogs. Their homepage
says “1,000s of Puppies for Sale… Shipped nationwide!” If
that doesn’t make you wonder about their service, then you will when you
learn that they don’t even pre-qualify the people or dogs who post to
their site. They only review a poster or dog if there have been complaints.
Technically this isn’t against that law, but if you ask us, we think it’s
awfully disrespectful to the dogs to treat them as cargo and the buyers to not
pre-qualify the sellers before letting them use their service. It is well documented
there is a GIANT problem of unethical breeding of dogs and this service, by
not pre-qualifiying the people they work with, is, we think, a big mistake.
We spoke with Puppyfind.com in the past and they justified
their practice by claiming “well, so may people post dogs a day we couldn’t
possibly pre-review them.” I don’t think I need to say what we think
is wrong with that. Especially now that they’ve been in business for a
couple years they should be improving their quality control, not standing by
old excuses.
Recently there has been a rash of tiny breeds posted
to puppyfind by a scammer pretending they are for sale. Thanks for everyone
to writing in to them. We have let them know how we feel about this too. My
gut feeling is that this was all the work of one desperate, nefarious person
who thinks that some how people will fall for their pathetic scam. When anything
happens out of the blue to this degree it’s almost always just one person
or people working together. Puppyfind will eventually ban this user (or users)
and they will slink away. So I do not expect some continuing photo theft as
this one person will realize how stupid they were and it will stop.
As far as I know, when this happens, Puppyfind, chooses
not to press criminal charges, which I also think I don’t need to state
how we feel, even though they have clear proof of attempted scams.
I do know Thumbelins's is for the love of dog. I can
only imagine what Puppyfind is for the love of.
In the future if you see or hear of misappropriated photos
being used to sell dogs on PuppyFind please contact them immediately with as
much proof and evidence as you have. In the end they are motivated to remove
false entries and the more people they hear from the more likely they are to
do it sooner than later. It is our wish they will reconsider their policies
of letting people post puppies until they hear of a problem and take a more
proactive stance in ensuring the validity of the poster and ethical quality
of the breeders they work with. (I am recieving comments
from my visitors and they are posted below)

them to find out more about her and they sent me pictures of what they said

I better let you know about this,
I apologize if this was an add you approved of or new about but it seemed like
a scam to me because of the location difference so I thought you should know
about it.
anyway her is a link to the add on puppyfind and here are the pictures they
sent me,

I just wanted to comment on your website and your poodles. It is obvious that
you love your dogs and they are so tiny and cute that I want one to love. I live
in Tomah, Wisconsin and there are no real teacup breeders here. I will wait for
you next litters. I just hope you get a female that lookslike Bisquit.

I love your poodles. They are absolutely preciious! I grew up with toy poodles.
The last 12 years, I had a Shi-Tzu. She died last summer and I'm thinking of getting
another toy poodle. I loved your website. I live in Las Vegas.

I just love the phantom poodles! Not all dogs can be a show dog. Just because
a poodle happens to be a phantom doesn't mean it doesn't have good conformation..
Please call me if you get a phantom puppy out of Gwen.

You have the breed standard
posted on your website saying that Phantom or Parti-colored Poodles are not accepted
by the breed standard, yet you are breeding them? Why?
Donna bennie1129@aol.com Saturday, March
26, 2005 at 02:54:37 (Thumbelina replies) Dear
Donna, . I do not breed Parti poodles. The Phantoms are very beautiful and can
be registered with the AKC. If you have ever had a AKC registered poodle you might
have noticed the color choices boxes on the form. It gives you a option to choose
the 2 colors if they happen to be. Any color other than sold is banned from the
conformation show ring. HOWEVER, a solid colored puppy whose sire or dam happens
to be from a Phantom or Parti is eligible to compete. I hope I have answered your
question. Best Regards and thank you for visiting our site.
I have five poodles, two are teacup and I love my dogs so much. They are so smart.
I really enjoyed your website and would recommend it.

I love your very informative web site. I have enjoyed reading all the information
you so graciously put on here for everyone to use. I received an AKC 2 1/2 lb
female red tiny toy for Christmas this year, and your information really helped
to get her off to a good start with her grooming. At 14 weeks old, she already
doesn't mind the clippers and the brushing. I spent 14 days at home bonding with
her, potty training, and she is so smart. Thank you so much for all your great
information. Just wanted you to know we appreciate web sites like yours.

I have some thoughts and info I would like to share with your visitors. I have
come accross so many websites like Nancy McIntosh at "Freedom poodles" I bought
my first poodle from her. I should have known by her putrid attitude towards other
breeders that she wasn't a professional. She said I was buying a teacup and the
dog is 11 inches. That is a miniature. Although I love my Micky very much, I still
want a real teacup.. Again thanks for your wonderful website. Lola,
I looked at her site because she inquired about buying from me. I saw the attitude
she displayed on her site and told her that was not the kind of home I wanted
any of my babies to go to. She wasn't stable enough to handle that and has smeared
her site with more smutt. I am glad that you kept Micky.

Your website was quite helpful. I have a toy poodle, Hannah Rose she is about 10inches and weigh about 4lb. She is a very picky eater. We have tried at least 10 different brands of food. She eats about 1/4 cup a day. Is that enough?
